and art to create laughter and fun for groups everywhere.
What
is a playshop?
 |
When
we were children, playtime was an opportunity to explore
the world and our connection to others. Communication
skills, creativity, and spontaneity were all called into
play. Little did we know that the laughter was also boosting
our immune systems and sending endorphins to our brains.
We were just having fun.
When
we grew up we put away childish things. Fun was replaced
with study and work. Games turned into competition.
Life became "serious." Stress encompassed
it all. How sad.

But,
it's not too late to recapture the joy of childhood! That
is what Cathy Raphael's It's Our Turn to Play! playshops
are all about--helping grown-ups learn to play and releasing
pent-up stress and creativity!
