Sit
comfortably with your eyes closed. Take some long deep breaths
and let your body relax. Let all the tension slip right
down your legs, out your feet and into the floor.
Gently
begin to contract your facial muscles--pucker up your mouth--squinch
your eyes tight--feel your nose and cheeks pull up tight.
Now begin to loosen the muscles--feel your face start to
sag--see how "saggy" you can be.
Inhale
deeply. Puff air into your cheeks--around your lips--into
every inch of your face. See how much air you can get into
your face--how far you can stretch.
Now
that your muscles are loose, alternate between contraction
and expansion. Move your whole face and nothing but your
face. Faster and further.
Take
a peek at the others!
Make
a silly face. Show it to everyone in the circle. Turn to
the person sitting next to you and "pass" them
the face. To pass it, keep the silly face in position. Have
the neighbor face you and contort her face into the same
silly position. When she mirrors you perfectly, give her
a nod and let her know she can pass it on to the person
on her other side. Watch it go around the circle.
Variation:
Once the face is passed on, the second person morphs it
into her own silly face to pass on. The third person picks
up the second person's face and changes it into his own
to pass. And so on.
